MinervaKB comes with dummy knowledge base data, so you can see the plugin in work without much configuration. It is installed via standard WordPress import tool.

Dummy data contains 30 article posts, organised in 6 topics. Content for articles is the same, but titles are different. Also, several home pages added, similar to the demo.

Configuring importer

To import dummy data after installing MinervaKB go to ToolsImport and click Install now in WordPress block.

When ready, press Submit. WordPress will start to import. Sometimes there can be some notices in the process, since WordPress importer is developed separately from WP core now and it sometimes uses deprecated methods.

Setup home page

After import is complete, go to MinervaKBSettings and select Knowledge base page to be your home KB page. This page is not generated with page builder and is added to so you can use it as global KB home.
